What Are Extended Bidding Auctions?

Auction bidders will submit visible bids to purchase the product or experience up for auction. Interested parties may submit a price that they are willing to pay for the auction item (“bid”). At any given time, the IfOnly platform will show the highest bid that has been placed on that item. The party with the highest bid at the close of the auction period will be the winner, fully responsible for purchasing the item.

You cannot retract or cancel a bid once placed. You are responsible for reading the full listing before making any bid. By bidding, you agree that you are entering into a legally binding contract to pay for that auction item if you are the winner. You may increase your bid at any time, and you will not be charged unless you are deemed the winner. Immediately following your bid, IfOnly will authorize your credit or debit card for the full amount of your bid (“credit card authorization”). This credit card authorization will be held (but not charged) until there's a winner. Note that your authorization may take up to 5 business days to release based on your bank and their processing times.

After the auction is complete, IfOnly will charge you the full amount of your highest bid only if you are the auction winner. If payment is not received by us from your credit or debit card issuer or its agents, you agree to pay all amounts due as part of this auction.

Please consider your bids carefully before placing them. The winner of the auction will be responsible for paying the entire cost of the bid that they have placed, no matter the difference between the top bid and the bid below it.
